Important Information

CISC & Crackley Hall Christmas Card Competition

Each year, the Catholic Independent Schools Conference challenges pupils across the UK to create their annual Christmas cards. This is done in the form of a competition which KS1 and KS2 are encouraged to enter.

This year, the theme for the card is ‘Hope Renewed’ and will need a religious flavour!

Work submitted should be A4, portrait or landscape and 2D – it could also be a photograph.

As always, Mr Duigan will be making a selection for our school Christmas card from those images submitted. We are also making this a House competition, with 5 house points for entering, 10 for the runners-up and 20 for the card chosen by Mr Duigan.

The closing date is Tuesday 12 November.

Please give any work to Ms Holmes. Work should be labelled on the reverse with pupil’s name and class, plus their HOUSE!

Get creative everyone! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Odd Socks Day 2024

Odd Socks Day marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week every year and this year Odd Socks Day 2024 will take place on Tuesday 12 November.

The campaign says:

From playgrounds to parliament, our homes to our phones, this Anti-Bullying Week let's 'Choose Respect' and bring an end to bullying which negatively impacts millions of young lives.

This year, we’ll empower children and young people to not resort to bullying, even when we disagree and remind adults to lead by example, online and offline.

Imagine a world where respect and kindness thrives — it’s not just a dream, it's in the choices we make. Join us this Anti-Bullying Week and commit to 'Choose Respect'.

Please could children wear odd socks on Tuesday 12 November as here at Crackley Hall we celebrate what makes us all unique.

Odd Socks Day sends an important message to all pupils that they should be allowed to be themselves, free from bullying, and helps us take part in Anti-Bullying Week in a fun and positive way.

Shoe Box Appeal 2024

We are delighted to once again be supporting Operation Christmas Child and their shoebox appeal. This year is even more exciting as some pupils from Crackley Hall will be taking all our donated shoeboxes to the distribution centre in Coventry and seeing the next step on the donation journey. Please see the webpage below for instructions on packaging the boxes and content suggestions.

May we please have all boxes in school by Wednesday 27 November at the latest.

Thank you.
