Monday Mission Assembly

Ms McAloon led the school's Mission Assembly and welcomed the pupils back after half-term. She talked about the two recent Feast Days of All Saints' Day on 1 November and the Feast of All Souls on 2 November. The saints were ordinary people with families, dreams, and doubts, but they kept trying to allow God's love to shape their lives. Their stories show that holiness is possible for anyone, and that God's light can shine through anyone who shares His love. Examples of some saints shared with the children included St Joseph, St Pio, St Martin, St Francis and St Clare. Pupils were asked to think about how we can say 'yes' to God's plan within our own lives, and to also think about being courageous and encouraging, giving hope to people and caring for everyone, just like the Saints.
