With the school celebrating World Book Day and dressing up as favourite book characters, we thought we would introduce a little bit of Lego fun into World Book Day too. We found that the bricks were actually a great way to talk about our favourite books and the scenes within them. Want to know more? Well, we all love The Famous Five and with Timmy the dog a firm favourite with readers, we created a scene whereby he took centre stage – literally – at the O2, sorry the K9, Arena and became a singing dog raising the woof singing Hound Dog! With Sven, the reindeer from Frozen and Toto from The Wizard of Oz both feeling a little left out, they quickly joined forces to become the Pet Shop Toys! Hopefully they weren’t barking up the wrong tree!
