PTA Preloved Book Fair
The Crackley Hall PTA preloved book fair took place on Thursday 25 January. What an amazing event it was - for children and adults alike! There was a lovely buzz in the hall as every class entered in anticipation of selecting their books. It was heart warming to see all the children getting excited and so eager to sit on the stage and read their new purchases. Every child left the hall with at least one book of their choice and a big smile on their face.
This event relies solely on kindness, donations and time; this year we had an abundance of all three. Thank you so much to both our parents and teachers, who donated books and their time in making the event possible and, of course, to the children for being so beautifully behaved, well mannered, and for sharing their contagious excitement over the love of reading.
A special mention must go to the kindness and generosity of Kenilworth Books who donated some brand new books to our event, several of which were signed by the authors! A special thanks also to Princethorpe College library, who sent across donations for our advanced readers.
So far, we have raised £687 through this event (with donations still coming in). This sum will go straight towards the PTA climbing wall fund; an addition to Crackley Hall that is sure to be enjoyed by children across the whole school.
PTA Headmaster's Quiz
Get ready to be a part of an exciting evening filled with fun and entertainment! Join us on Friday 23 February, for the Headmaster's Quiz.
This event is sure to be the highlight of the year, and it will be packed with a range of activities that will keep you on your toes. You can indulge in a delectable cheese board and enjoy a bar service to keep you refreshed throughout the night.
This event is the perfect opportunity to come and mingle with other parents, members of the PTA, and staff from Crackley. You can form a team of up to eight people and take part in the quiz that will test your knowledge and skills. It's an excellent chance to meet new people and make new connections that will last a lifetime.
So, don't miss out on this unforgettable experience that you'll cherish for years to come. Come and join us for an evening filled with laughter, excitement, and entertainment. Tickets on sale next week. We can't wait to see you there!
PTA Pre-loved Uniform
Many thanks for all the donations that have been sent in this year - without these we literally could not operate!
Please continue to use the containers in the foyer to drop off any donations rather than dropping into the office staff. We are especially grateful to receive good quality sports items - particularly tracksuit bottoms!
