Lego Club

Welcome back Lego builders! Did you celebrate Lego’s 90th anniversary on 10 August?  For Lego’s birthday during the summer, they really got into the world of play, not just with Lego bricks, but any kind of play, from puddle jumping to ball kicking, in fact if you could play it, Lego were celebrating! And so are Lego Club this week. Just take a look at our photos to see what our creative minds have been building. We had a chat about our beautiful Queen Elizabeth and how she interacted in such a fun way with Paddington Bear earlier in the year and we reflected on how she inspired so many people.

We then discussed why we play? It is hard to find the time to just stop and play because play is the best, most fun way to bring us closer to our family and friends. Always has been. Always will be.  When children play, they learn. Simple. Play has the power to change lives. It’s the best way to help children reach their full potential and learn life-long skills. As we all agreed in Lego Club - playing with Lego is the best way to express creativity. So Lego Club - let’s continue to build!
