Spiritual

Leavers Mass

Our theme for the Leavers Mass this week was endings and new beginnings led beautifully by Father Kevin and Junior 6. Father Kevin invited us all to reflect as we say goodbye to friends and think of memories that have been created and celebrate those treasured times. We thank God for the opportunities we have been blessed with.

Change can be challenging. Change is exciting but sometimes we might feel anxious. With support from our friends and family, and spiritual guidance, we can embrace the change and meet each challenge head on. The Gospel reading from St John reminded us of Jesus’ words, ‘Love each other as I have loved you’. The Chamber Choir echoed these thoughts in the Communion Hymn 'Bread of Life'. Ending school with this powerful collective worship brings us all closer together and reaffirms how lucky we are to be amongst the Crackley community and share in God’s love.
