Please note that Sports Clubs that take place outside, will now finish at 4:15pm due to the fading light, pick up will still be from the normal place.

Junior 6 Activity Week

We are holding our annual Post Examination Activity and Enrichment Week during the week beginning 25 November 2024.  During this week, we have arranged a variety of different activities that will allow children to break from the more formal academic focus, while alllowing for the development of different interests and skills; some timetabled lessons will continue as usual.

We know that the children are very much looking forward to this week and we hope that they enjoy the different activities planned. In addition to this, each day, we will be giving the children clear instructions on what they need to remember for the next.

There will be a small charge of no more than £8 for the cost of the Costa Take-Away ordered, which will be added to your next school bill. Please do consent to the Evolve that will be sent out regarding this.

 

Uniform Standards And Requirements

As we have now passed the Half Term break, all children should be wearing their winter uniform to school:

Winter dress with long sleeve white shirt and tie, jumper, blazer, coat, black socks or tights and black school shoes (Reception to Junior 4).

Winter skirt with long sleeve white shirt and tie, jumper, blazer, coat, black socks or tights and black school shoes (Junior 5 and 6).

Black trousers with long sleeve white shirt and tie, jumper, blazer, coat, black socks and black school shoes.

Children should be wearing their school coat, not any other coats.

Fleece hats, scarves and gloves are available for sale in the school office.

Children should be smartly dressed at school, clean and tidy with shirts tucked in.

Long hair (past shoulder length) should be tied back and out of the face. Hair accessories should be burgundy or black and we do have stock of burgundy hair accessories for sale in the school office.

Make up and nail varnish must not be worn.

Earrings and jewellery must not be worn.

The Foundation Uniform Shop is open from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Wednesday during term time, and by appointment only during the school holidays.

Library Books

Ms Holmes would like to send a 'polite reminder' to return any books borrowed from the school library before the start of the Autumn Term. There are lots missing - please could we ask that children check at home.

Shoe Box Appeal 2024 - Reminder

We are delighted to once again be supporting Operation Christmas Child and their shoebox appeal.
