Monday Mission Assembly
Mr Duigan led the Monday Mission Assembly and welcomed the pupils back after half-term. He talked about Ash Wednesday and Lent, explaining that Lent is a time when we can look at how we can be better people by asking God to help us. In the Christian church we can do this during Lent by self reflecting and being strong and determined, like Jesus was in the desert, when He was tempted. We could also pray more often and take up almsgiving to help the poor, as well as fasting, giving up something, or taking up a task which will help others.
