Reverse Advent Calender - Reminder

As we approach Advent, we help the children to understand that it is a time for preparing for Christmas, both practically and spiritually. During our RE lessons, drama and assemblies we think about the true message of Christmas.

This year we have decided as a school, to take part in a Reverse Advent Calendar. This is when the pupils and staff each pick a number from 1 to 18 out of a hat. On that day they then bring in either an item of food, a toiletry product or a small toy.

The donations will be collected by the class teachers who will put them in a box in the classroom. They will be displayed at the Advent Mass and the final assembly of the year.

All the donations will be collected and taken to Kenilworth, Leamington and Warwick Food Banks to help communities in need. Please check out www.warwickdistrict.foodbank.org.uk to find out more.

Donations particularly in need are:

Long Life UHT Milk
Washing up liquid
Male & female deodorants
Shower gel
Packets of instant mash
Tinned vegetables
Jam
Toothpaste

Please do not send in these items if at all possible:

Dried pasta
Baked beans
Soup
Tea

Thank you for your support.

Christmas Post Box 2023 - Reminder

We love sharing Christmas cards here at Crackley Hall School but we ask that all cards are put in our special Christmas postbox which is situated in the Gables entrance.

All cards must be in before Friday 15 December so they can be sorted by the Year 6 elves and handed out to pupils before the end of term.

Please remember to include the full name of the child and form on the envelope.

Thank you
