U11 Girls Fifth In ISA Midlands Football Tournament
Our U11 Girls Football team took part in the ISA U11 Midlands Tournament today, Friday 30 September, hosted by Dixie Grammar.
They girls lost their opening game 2-1 with the winning goal slipping in just before the full-time whistle. Undeterred the girls then won their second game with a super 12-0 score line. In their third game they faced the hosts, Dixie Grammar, and held them to a 2-2 draw. They then won against Ruckleigh 2-0 and against Highclare A 7-0.
After all those matches we are pleased to report the girls finished in fifth place overall. Well done girls for your determination and team spirit. You did us proud.
