The Chronicle

We took part in big discoveries in Lego Club this week when we had a go at making volcanoes – to coincide with what Junior 4 are learning in Geography.  With an array of brown, black and glowing red bricks at the ready, we made hot lava flow with mighty eruptions and clouds of smoke with volcanic ash and gases escaping from a magma chamber below the surface.  Keen to carry on with volcano knowledge, we learnt that there are over 1,500 potentially active volcanoes worldwide. Now that’s hot news!
