Learning In Action

Mr Cottrill's Challenge

Following Mr Cottrill's recent assembly, Will and Ted rose to the challenge of making a catapult out of lolly sticks and elastic bands.  The objective was to see how far a pom pom could be launched. The boys are currently in the lead with the distance travelled but if you have an entry for this challenge, be sure to share it with Mr Cottrill.

The video also features their worry monster - thank you for sharing this with us.

Little Crackers Learning

Little Crackers Nursery children have been joining in with their own Home Learning Programme this week, with a special focus on their Phonics and Maths.

Mrs O'Carroll-Bailey, our Early Years Foundation Teacher, has embraced technology and created engaging videos to share with the children (and their parents) and will be joining them each week to help them with their learning at home.

We hope you've all enjoyed joining in!

Getting into Character

Mr Stedeford was delighted to hear that Carter had been working hard this week and continuing to enjoy his reading.  Carter clearly gave a lot of thought about preparing to read his latest book, as he dressed in character to fully appreciate the story line.

We hope you enjoyed reading Skulduggery Pleasant!

Da Vinci Awards

Congratulations to Jack and Chloe who have each been awarded a Da Vinci.

Chloe's project showed the development of a village to a town to a city (pictured) and Jack created an excellent Powerpoint for his geography project.

Well done to both of you.
