Happy New Year to all our returning and new parents.
We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, we have enjoyed hearing bits and pieces about all your adventures, both home and away during the holiday period, and it has been lovely to hear about the fun everyone has had.
We would all like to say a big thank you to everyone who sent gifts for the staff, these were all much appreciated.
Our first week back has been a real adventure as we explored the idea of ‘opening the gates’ at certain times during the week. The children have found it so exciting to move freely within the nursery, choosing to go into the creative room to paint, to the garden room to build dens and check out the birds and squirrels, or sprawling in the small world area with the trains.
Everyone has enjoyed having more space to play and the children have really embraced the opportunity to mix with older and younger children. It is a joy to watch the conversations developing between different groups of children as they work together to create, build and explore.
