RE Book of the Week has been awarded to Harry (J4JM).

J3 achieved real understanding this week of the Last Supper through class teacher Mrs Holmes' inventive cross-curricular fusion of RE, English and Drama. 

Their tableau entitled ‘The Last Supper' helped pupils remember why it is so important, who was there and four of the important events that happened during the meal. Well done J3H, this learning will underpin your future studies by providing a perfect and memorable 'scaffold'. 

This week Father Kevin joined those J4, J5 and J6 students who have embarked on the programme to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation. In the sacrament of Reconciliation we celebrate God’s forgiving and healing love. This sacrament has a number of different names, including Confession and the Sacrament of Penance. During the service we looked at how we can use the stories from the Bible in our everyday lives and how we can turn over a new leaf.
